Cornish Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast  a stone's throw from Trethevy Quoit

Trethevy Quoit

Just a short stroll from Trethevy Farm stands Trethevy Quoit, an impressive and well – preserved Neolithic ‘dolmen’ burial chamber, some 2.7 metres high and comprising five standing stones, topped by a huge capstone weighing about 20 tonnes.

These distinctive structures are found mainly in the far west of Cornwall but this one, on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor, is perhaps the finest and also the most accessible, being alongside the road to Trethevy Farm B&B.
